What is Spiritual Direction?
This is a safe space where individuals can explore their spiritual experiences, relationships, challenges, and connection to the transcendent. It's a collaborative and contemplative process that honors your beliefs and facilitates your connection with the sacred in a way that resonates authentically with your heart and soul.
As the Spiritual Companion, I provide a non-religious, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment for you to navigate the complexities of your spiritual journey.
Drawing upon personal practices, lessons from 30 years as a practicing Pagan priest and global executive, insights, and modern contemplative practices, I assist individuals in discerning the whispers of their souls and understanding their connection to the divine.
I aim to support and empower individuals on their spiritual journey, helping them embrace the wisdom within and develop a deeper awareness of their spiritual connections and purpose.
I've provided Spiritual Direction as a trusted advisor for seekers and executives for 20 years.
Our Relationship:
Although I believe it is appropriate at times to discuss psychological and relational difficulties in the context of spiritual direction, I am not a psychotherapist nor do I provide such services. At times, I will make recommendations when I determine my skills do not meet your needs.
Similarly you recognize that spiritual direction is not financial advice and any decisions and actions you may take in that regard are done without my advice or recommendation, and are purely your responsibility.
Occasionally, I will (or we will mutually) discern that you may be better off in counseling rather than direction or I will suggest counseling in addition to spiritual direction.
Confidentiality
You have a right to expect confidentiality of the information we share with each other. I commit to holding our conversations in the strictest confidence.
I am permitted or required by law to disclose information without your consent or authorization in some situations. These situations fall under Mandated Reporter requirements in some states. Examples include self-harm, minor or elderly abuse.
If one arises, I will make every effort to discuss it with you before taking action.
Termination:
The format of Spiritual Direction may not be for everyone. You may discontinue Spiritual Direction at any time. Please give 30-days advance notice if you intend to discontinue meeting together.
