Another full moon. It happens every month. Always the same, always different. As Pagans and witches, we acknowledge the spiral. It is a powerful tool for conducting our lives.

Our lives, our goals, and our journey to our personal summum bonum are "the all" for us. Thelemites say the summum bonum is the finding of your true will.

As the days shorten, you have more opportunities to reflect and plan during the dark time of year. What have you done to find your highest good? Do you have a strong sense of your great work or purpose? Recognize that your true will may not be an ultimate world-changing event. However, it is the highest purpose for which you are here.

Acknowledge that even after you learn or accomplish your true will, you may never truly know its impact on the world around you.

Spiraling is a way to learn incrementally and take on more as you build on the foundation from which you started. The loops may be broad (birthdays, seasons of the year) or tight (every new moon). Uncovering your true will takes effort and copious amounts of self-inspection.

There are no shortcuts. I will repeat it; there are no shortcuts. However, divination may point you in a direction. Meet with people you consider spiritually adept, and have shrine time if consulting with deities is part of your practice. Remember that if you have consulted with a deity or spirit, you are getting into a commitment to do something. To wrap, I am tasking you. Every full moon, do one thing that improves YOU. It may be a healthy habit, learning a new skill, or finding a better way to do something you enjoy. It is about self-improvement and building on something you can do every month.
